Launch from Baikonur; landing 135 km north of Arkalyk.

First Interkosmos-Mission with a Czech-Slowakian cosmonaut on board. Docking on Salyut 6 spacestation and common work with the first resident crew.

Interkosmos-missions had mainly political purposes but also some scientific experiments were performed, as crystall-growing experiments, materials processing, earth-observations, medical-biological tests.
