Launch from Baikonur; landing with Soyuz T-5-spacecraft 190 km east of Dzheskasgan.

Docking on Salyut 7-spacestation and common work with the first resident crew. The crew delivered experiments and mail to the station. The crew also conducted scientific and technical research and experiments, especially in the field of microgravity. Savitskaya became the second woman in space.
