First time since ASTP a Russian cosmonaut was onboard of an U.S.- spacecraft; deploying of Wake Shield Facility failed; possible was only a flight on the Remote Manipulator Arm; experiments in biology and biomedicine in the Spacehab-module; the crew deployed the small German-Built Bremsat-Satellite.
