8th MIR-Docking-Mission; supplies and equipment were brought to MIR (i.e. two computers, a cooling system and a compressor); common flight of 4d 20h 43m (24. - 29.01.1998) with the 24. MIR resident crew; Thomas replaced Dave Wolf as a member of MIR resident crew.

Note

Thomas returned to Earth on 12.06.1998 at 18:01 UT with STS-91.
